Alcohol free beer is growing strongly

Over the past few years, with people concerned about their health have been looking increasingly at other options to get their fix. This had led to the growth of a category of Alcohol free beer.
Robert Iervasi is the chief executive officer of Asahi, Australia’s largest beer company and he has revealed that the alcohol free beer segment has grown a lot faster than any other alcoholic drink categories. It is also growing bigger than craft beer segment which has also had a huge revival. Craft beers have grown by nearly 9 per cent. This growth has been a good thing for Asahi who has seen a flat growth in regular beer. The beer industry has seen a big drop due to the Coronovirus pandemic with many clubs and pubs having to shut down or limit the number of patrons it has in it’s venues.
Alcohol free beer is expected to have a growth of over 30 per cent annually. Although this seems like a large figure, it does start from a small base. However, it is promising to see the potential that this business has and there is hope that it does not cannabalise the regular beer market. Rather, they hope that the segment brings in new beer drinkers that did not want the alcoholic version.
There are many other players getting into the market. One is First Choice Liquor who are an online non alcoholic beer retailer. You can use a First Choice Liquor Promo code to save on your purchase.
